There’s a saying I’ve loved for a long time:
“Every new encounter is the beginning of something wonderful.”
I love traveling. Over the years, I’ve traveled all across Japan and to many places around the world. Whenever I travel, I love trying the local food, being moved by beautiful scenery, discovering historic places and cultures, and even taking my time choosing souvenirs. To me, all of these little things are part of the joy of travel.
Travel is full of discoveries and moments that make your heart come alive.
But as time passes,
and I find myself looking back on the journeys I’ve taken,
what stays with me most isn’t the scenery or the food.
It’s the memories of the people I met along the way.
The times we laughed together.
The meals we shared.
The casual conversations we had.
The stories they told me about their lives and their culture.
Somehow, it’s these simple moments that stay with me, even years later.
To me, that’s where the true value of travel lies.
And maybe life is much the same.
At the end of our lives, I don’t think what matters most is how much money we had. I think it’s how deeply we felt, how many wonderful people we met, and how many unforgettable memories we made along the way.
When I look back on my own life so far, what stays with me most is still the people I’ve met and the time we shared together.
I believe that life is about collecting memories that stay in our hearts.
And behind those memories, there are always people.
The people we meet.
The connections we make.
The time we spend together.
I believe the memories and stories that grow from those moments are what make life richer.
That’s why I created New Adventure.
What I want to share isn’t simply a journey from one sightseeing spot to another.
I want people to meet those who call a place home, experience the local culture, and share moments that could only happen there, on that particular journey.
I want to create journeys that stay with you.
When the journey is over, I don’t want it to end with just, “That was fun.”
I hope that one day, when you look back, you’ll be able to say:
“That journey helped make me who I am today.”
That’s the kind of journey I want to create.
That’s what New Adventure is all about.
We only get one life.
“I’d love to go there.”
“I’d love to try that.”
“I want to challenge myself and do something new.”
When you feel that little spark inside you, I hope you hold on to it.
Sometimes, all it takes is a little courage and one step forward. You might meet someone you never expected to meet, be moved by a view you’ve never seen before, or discover a side of yourself you never knew was there.
For me, traveling and meeting people have made life more interesting, again and again.
And now, through New Adventure, I want to share those kinds of encounters and experiences with you.
To laugh a lot. To feel deeply.
And someday, when you look back on that journey, I hope the memory of it brings a smile to your face.
